		<description>I'm also looking to move away from Gentoo after using it solid since 2005.  Not only because of the issues you've mentioned, but particularly the lack of KDE 4.1 in portage.  I've been looking into ArchLinux, a binary distro which gives the control of Gentoo and rolling releases (something I really love about Gentoo).</description>
